Volunteers: Update from Pastor Nathan

Volunteers are vital to ministry at New Vision. That's why I am making a concerted effort to make sure that our volunteers have small manageable tasks: Three month commitments for teachers, once a month for nursery, etc. When volunteers don't see an end in sight, it can make them discouraged. I know that proper training is also important for teachers to help them feel prepared for the classes they teach. For example, we offered training for our nursery volunteers, so they'll know how to make nursery a ministry with Sunlight Kids. And best of all, I am beginning to see some people who have been burnt out in the past begin to come back around to be involved. It's just one more way we are seeing God help us grow!
